Regal to hold fourth Visions and Values luncheon

ORLANDO, Fla. – For the fourth consecutive year, boat builder Regal Marine Industries will sponsor the “Leading with Vision and Values” luncheon during the Miami Boat Show, the company said in a statement Jan. 10.

Author and businessman C. William Pollard brings the message “Timeless Values in Turbulent Times.”

The overwhelming success and positive response from the past three luncheons has supported the continuation of the program at the Miami Boat Show, said Tim Kuck, event organizer and vice president of Regal Marine Industries

“Our goal is to bring an inspiring speaker to the industry that lives by the highest standards of visions and values and has a proven track record of conducting business accordingly,” Kuck said. “We are excited to feature someone of Bill Pollard’s stature and believe his message is a one-size-fits-all message that applies to our lives both personally and professionally.”

During Pollard’s leadership of ServiceMaster, the company was recognized by Fortune magazine as the best service company among the Fortune 500 and also was included in its list of most admired companies. In Pollard’s latest book, The Soul of the Firm, he explains the reason behind the enormous growth and success of ServiceMaster, its commitment to honor God and the development of its people. Based on his years of service, Pollard uses examples from ServiceMaster to show leaders how to turn the workplace into a vibrant environment for a successful business.

The “Leading with Vision and Values” luncheon will be held on Friday, Feb. 17 from noon-1:15 p.m. at the Miami Beach Convention Center in Rooms A204/A205. To insure a reservation, tickets must be ordered by Jan. 27, and are available for $30 each, or $225 for a corporate table of eight. Every attendee will receive a copy of Pollard’s book, The Soul of the Firm.
