MRAA moves convention due to attendance spike

OAK PARK, Ill. – The Marine Retailers Association of America (MRAA) has moved its annual convention, based in Las Vegas, from the Stardust hotel to the Rio All-Suites Hotel & Casino, it reported in a recent statement. The dates of its 2006 Annual Convention will be November 13-15.

“Our need for additional exhibit space and meeting rooms due to increased attendance made it necessary to seek a new hotel,” commented Glenn Mazzella, MRAA chairman.

“We held our 2003 convention at the Rio and we’re looking forward to returning to these excellent facilities,” stated Phil Keeter, MRAA president.

Convention details, such as agendas and registrations, will be distributed this spring. For more information contact Marge Eckenroad, 708-763-9210 or mraa@mraa.com.
