Marketing and PR firms form alliance

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. – Ginger Hornday of Fort Lauderdale-based marketing and public relations firm Enhance Marketing, Inc. and Louisa Rudeen Beckett of Turnkey Communications in Orlando have teamed up to provide targeted public relations support for major luxury resort and marina developments worldwide, they reported in a recent statement.

This alliance will provide the Enhance Marketing client base with a depth of knowledge of the marketplace as well as long-term editorial relationships in multiple media categories, according to the companies.

As her first project under the new alliance, Beckett has signed on as public relations account manager for Enhance Marketing’s client The Club and Marina at Emerald Bay, Great Exuma.

Beckett is the former editor of ShowBoats International and editor-in-chief of Motor Boating, and also served as executive editor of Yachting magazine.

“Louisa’s experience in covering the world of yachts, megayachts and their destinations, as well as her seventeen years as a member of the boating industry, will be invaluable in publicizing this premier Bahamas yachting destination and others to come,” said Hornaday, president and founder of Enhance Marketing.

A 20-year marketing veteran of both the international yachting community and now the South Florida luxury real estate industry, Hornaday has recognized and identified a niche in the market for sales of new and redeveloped marina and dockominium (privately owned slip) projects to provide dock space and destination experiences for owners of boats in all size ranges.

Her 12-year-old firm, Enhance Marketing, provides a one-stop marketing, public relations and sales solution for sellers, buyers, investors, developers, yacht owners and all others interested in marinas, dockominiums and luxury waterfront property.

“Emerald Bay is one of our premier accounts in a succession of resort and marina projects lining up at Enhance Marketing due to the GingerHornaday.com luxury and waterfront real estate team I have assembled under the orchestration of Galleria Collection of Fine Homes in Fort Lauderdale,” Hornaday said. “Look for many more projects to be announced in the future.”
