MasterCraft launches new Web site
VONORE, Tenn. – After several months of design, development and user research, MasterCraft has gone live with phase one of its new Web site, the company reported in a recent statement.
Guests to the new site will not only receive extensive new boat information, they will be drawn into “a true owner’s experience with features such as forums, asset downloads, podcasts, chat rooms, e-commerce, event information, ski and wakeboard school programs, an owner-friendly contacts page and a dynamic FAQ, to name a few,” according to MasterCraft.
“Today’s consumers use the Web and company Web sites as more than just online window shopping,” said Phil Walker, web- and e-business manager at MasterCraft. “They are looking for a media publication that provides information relevant to their user experience – be it prospect, owner or brand loyalist. As a result, we were challenged to extend MasterCraft’s reputation of leadership and innovation to this crucial area of the business, pushing us to make a radical change to the site from its previous two-dimensional version. Now we have a terrifically balanced and dynamic site that is a true lifestyle resource for both present and future MasterCraft owners, ultimately securing our place as the most desired sport luxury boat.”
The new www.mastercraft.com will be released in phases – the first phase is now live, with the second and third phases being made public over the next few months adding even more functionality to the site including podcasting, interactive tutorials, live chats and other features.
