Boat-Chek.com expands

SARASOTA, Fla. – Boating listing Web site Boat-Chek.com has expanded its surveyor and broker networks, the company reported in a recent statement.

It now encompasses over 170 surveyors from the Society of Accredited Marine Surveyors (SAMS) and the National Association of Marine Surveyors (NAMS), and covers 26 states and territories, from Alaska to Puerto Rico, including its home base of Florida. In addition to Florida and Puerto Rico, Boat-Chek.com said it has added brokers covering the four additional states of Michigan, New York, South Carolina and Virginia.

“We are expanding our surveyor network to enable prompt Boat-Chek reviews for all boats nationwide,” said Boat-Chek.com President Frank DiGiovanni. “If we don’t already have a Boat-Chek surveyor in your area, we’ll have one shortly.”

Boat-Chek is also extending its 65 strong nationwide broker network, which already includes several brokers from MarineMax, HMY Yacht Sales, Allied Richard Bertram, Galati Yacht Sales and Gillman Yachts firms. Each broker currently lists five Boat-Chek reviewed boats, along with an unlimited number of classified listings on the site, and that number continues to grow, according to DiGiovanni.

Currently, Boat-Chek.com has hundreds of reviewed boats and classified listings on its site. Boat-Chek’s further expansion includes the virtually real-time updating of its website classified listings. By the year’s end, Boat-Chek.com expects to list over 1000 Boat-Chek reviewed boats and classified boat listings on its site.

In other recent news, Boat-Chek.com has appointed Captain Curt Marsh as marine industry advisor, Captain Joe Schulten as regional director and Dena Curry as director of marketing.
