GEM Products partners with The Merifield Company
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Marine hardware manufacturer GEM Products, Inc., has entered into a strategic partnership with The Merifield Company in a effort to strengthen its competitive sales presence on the West Coast, the company reported yesterday.
The Merifield Company was established in 1932 by John B. Merifield, one of the first manufacturer’s representatives in the country, and provides quality representation to many of the nations leading manufacturers of marine and sporting goods products, GEM said in its release.
“After eight straight years of double-digit sales growth primarily from business on the East Coast, expanding our efforts to the West comes as a natural move for us,” said Matt Bridgewater, president of GEM Products, Inc. “We expect this partnership will enable us to better reach and service prospects and enhance the strength of our outside sales force.”
GEM said that over the past two years, it has added top engineering talent and now provides value-added services, including 3D modeling and rapid prototyping, which have enhanced customer service and increased its ability to fulfill custom requests.
