Tumacs to open new production facility
PITTSBURGH – Tumacs Boat Covers of Pittsburgh, Pa., has plans to open a new facility in the Elkhart, Ind., area, the company reported in a recent release.
Bob McCall, president of Tumacs Covers, said production would begin in January 2006. Initially, 15 to 20 works will be hired for producing boat covers and related items.
The company said Elkhart was chosen because of its proximity to boat manufactures and dealers, as well as the quality of its work force.
