EdgeWater expands production facility

EDGEWATER, Fla. — Offshore-boat builder EdgeWater Powerboats recently expanded its production facility in Edgewater, Fla., by 22,000 square feet, bringing its total facility size to 94,000 square feet, the company reported in a statement Wednesday.

“Our business continues to grow at a steady pace. This expansion will allow us to maintain this growth, and roll out new, larger models.” said Peter Truslow, president. “This new building will house our growing custom and commercial business and will allow us to build more tooling in-house. This expansion will also enable EdgeWater to consolidate all of our larger, close molded boat production into a separate building.”

Truslow added that the expansion will allow its closed molding team to have their own building.
