West Marine opens new call center

WATSONVILLE, Calif. – Boating supplies retailer West Marine has opened a new call center, located within the Paradyne Corporate Center at 8625 126th Avenue North, Suite 200, in Largo, Fla., it reported in a recent statement

This 10,000 square foot facility replaces a smaller call center previously located on East Bay Drive. It supports West Marine and BoatU.S. customers from all over the world, and will also provide customer care and support for all West Marine and BoatU.S. catalog, Internet, retail and business to business Port Supply customers.

The new call center will house more than 120 West Marine associates who will handle calls from boaters and water and boating enthusiasts around the world, and around the clock.

The grand opening is scheduled for August 11 -12 with activities planned for associates and invited guests, according to the company.
