IMBC exhibit space goes on sale

WASHINGTON – Companies and organizations wishing to exhibit at the 2006 International Marina & Boatyard Conference are now able to view the conference floor plan and buy exhibit space, IMBC producers said in a release Friday.

IMBC will be held Jan. 29 through Feb. 1 in Orlando, Fla. The conference returns to Florida in 2006 after a hiatus in 2005 when the IMBC joined forces with the International Council of Marine Industry Associations for IMC ’05 in San Diego.

The host hotel for the conference is the Renaissance Orlando Resort at SeaWorld.

The Association of Marina Industries (AMI – formerly MOAA and IMI) and the American Boat Builders and Repairers Association are producing IMBC this year. The floor plan can be viewed by going online to www.marinaassociation.org and clicking on the conference logo at the bottom, left side of the page.

“The overwhelming response by marina-related businesses and organizations wishing to exhibit at the upcoming conference has been exciting,” said James L. Frye, CMM, president of AMI. “Interest in premium booths is especially high with many spots already sold; those wishing to secure a premium space should act immediately.”

New to the 2006 conference is the addition of a third level of exhibitor opportunities to allow for more marina-related businesses of all sizes to participate. Exhibitors have the option of choosing a premium booth for $1,900, a 1st tier booth for $1,500 or a 2nd tier booth for $1,250. Exhibiting costs include two complimentary conference registrations for exhibitors as well as some booth amenities.

Those interested in exhibiting at this conference can contact Brooke Fishel at (202) 737-9774 or by e-mail at bfishel@marinaassociation.org.
