The Hull Company acquires Ashley Yacht Sales
CHARLESTON, S.C. – The Hull Company Yacht Sales and Services, Inc. of Charleston, S.C., has acquired Ashley Yacht Sales, LLC, creating one of the largest diversified yacht brokerage operations between Annapolis, Md., and Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., The Hull Company said in a recent release.
The group will continue to operate under both the Ashley Yacht Sales and The Hull Company names, with the offices of Ashley Yacht Sales co-located at The Hull Company’s current location.
“This was a great opportunity for us to expand and continue to grow our sales division,” commented Deven Hull, CPYB, president of The Hull Company. “With our current service department expansion, the timing could not be better. Ashley Yachts brings us a critical mass essential to support our goal of full customer service including our new yacht management and preventative maintenance programs.”
Combined, the companies will feature over 115 years of industry experience and over 100 boats in new inventory and brokerage listings. Customers will benefit from the largest brokerage staff in South Carolina, including 3 Certified Professional Yacht Brokers, a customer care division with service and yacht management, according to the release.
