Sea Tow adds four locations
SOUTHOLD, N.Y. – Professional marine assistance organization Sea Tow Services International, Inc., will open four new locations: Sea Tow Lafitte/Grand Isle (La.), Sea Tow Southern New Hampshire, Sea Tow Seattle (Wash.) and Sea Tow Tacoma (Wash.), the company reported in a release today.
Sea Tow also announced the sale and transfer of ownership of three existing franchise areas. Captain Anthony Noury is the new owner of Sea Tow Charleston (S.C.) and Captain Mike DeGenaro is the new owner of Sea Tow Charlotte Harbor (Fla.).
In addition, Sea Tow Great South Bay (N.Y.) is under the new ownership of Captains Ryan Bayley and Michael Emmert, the former co-owners of Nautical Assist, an independently owned marine assistance provider headquartered in Glen Head, NY, which was acquired earlier this month by Sea Tow. Terms of the agreement were not disclosed, Sea Tow said.
The new franchise owners for all of these locations were awarded certificates for their successful completion of an extensive training program, which included both on-water and classroom instruction. The weeklong training program was held in Southold, N.Y last week.
Sea Tow Great South Bay, Sea Tow Charlotte Harbor and Sea Tow Charleston are open and operational. Sea Tow Tacoma opens May 1, Sea Tow Lafitte/Grand Isle open May 30, and Sea Tow Seattle and Sea Tow Southern New Hampshire opens July 1.
