IBEX adds education and training pavilion
BROOKLIN, Maine – The International Boatbuilders’ Exposition and Conference will expand its educational opportunities in 2005 with the introduction of the Marine Education & Training Pavilion, a special section of the exhibit halls exclusively featuring companies with technical education and training programs, IBEX organizers reported in a recent release.
Exhibition space in the Marine Education & Training Pavilion at IBEX currently is being sold at reduced prices to educational and training companies, associations, and institutions that will be showcasing educational programs at IBEX, October 19-21, 2005, in Miami Beach, Fla.
The new Marine Education & Training Pavilion will be located immediately adjacent to the main floor of Hall C in the Miami Beach Convention Center. Only 45 booths are available in the new pavilion; IBEX Show Management is offering the space only to organizations whose primary goal is education and training.
“We’ve established the need in the boatbuilding industry for new and diversified means of training current and future boatbuilding staffs,” says Carl Cramer, IBEX show co-director. “The Marine Education & Training Pavilion at IBEX is making the available opportunities as accessible as possible.”
Show Management has made exhibit space in the pavilion significantly less expensive than standard space to allow for a variety of organizations to join.
“We’d like to host as many education-focused entities as possible,” says Jennifer Thompson, IBEX show co-director. “By making it easier to exhibit, we’re making it easier for our attendees to find the training they need.”
Companies interested in receiving exhibitor information should contact Tina Sanderson at 203-531-4422, or Anne Dunbar at 716-662-4708, immediately.
