AVON and A&J Boat Corp. sign dealer agreement
STEVENSVILLE, Md. – AVON, a subsidiary of Zodiac S.A. and distributed by Zodiac of North America, recently signed a new dealer agreement with A&J Boat Corp. of Marion, Mass. to provide the full line of AVON brand inflatable boats and rigid-hull inflatable boats to its customers, AVON said in a release today.
A&J Boat Corp.’s agreement with AVON marks the first time in its 33-year history that it will offer inflatable boats. AVON is the only brand of inflatable boats currently provided by the company.
“There’s a lot of call for inflatable boats among sailors in Sippican Harbor and Buzzards Bay, and we expect a significant percentage of our sales will be for sailboat tenders,” said Richie Patton, manager of A&J Boat Corp.
In addition to offering a full range of AVON boats, A&J Boat Corp. is also an authorized warranty service facility for all brands of inflatable boats.
