AMI launches new Web site
WASHINGTON – The Association of Marina Industries, formed with the merger of the Marina Operators Association of America, and the International Marina Institute, officially launched the association’s new website: www.marinaassociation.org. The two associations’ previous Web sites — www.moaa.com and www.imimarina.org — will no longer be active.
“The new Web site for AMI combines the best parts of both previous association Web sites,” said Jim Frye, President of AMI, “and includes great new aspects as well, which will be more attractive and useful to AMI members and others in the industry.”
AMI says that the new site will feature such things as a searchable news database with up-to-date stories about the marina industries from news sources around the country and the world; secure online credit card purchases of publications and courses offered by AMI; member-only login features which allow AMI members to change contact information, submit classified ads, participate in forum discussions with other AMI members and renew membership online.
