Boating Industry Intelligence You Can Profit From
NEWPORT BEACH, Calif. – BellPort, a marina company that operates marinas in the U.S., Mexico and Japan, has added Deer Harbor Marina on Orcas Island, Wash., to its chain of West Coast marinas, the company reported in a recent release.
Located in the San Juan Islands, Deer Harbor joins the BellPort chain of West Coast marinas stretching from Canada to Mexico including Newport Beach, Marina del Rey, and the recent addition of Marina Costa Baja in La Paz, Mexico.
“It has been a goal of our company to have a facility in the San Juan Islands, one of the world’s premier yachting regions,” Andrew Fite, BellPort COO, said. “The facility will undergo a number of improvements while preserving the character and charm that has made Deer Harbor a favorite destination of many boaters.”
The marina has slips up to 50 feet as well as side ties and moorings that can accommodate vessels up to 100 feet.
