NFM to exhibit at Boat Tech China

PORT TOWNSEND, Wash. – Port lights and marine hardware manufacturer New Found Metals, will exhibit at Boat Tech China, the first-ever marine equipment and accessories trade show in Asia, from June 13-15 at the JinHan Exhibition Centre in Guangzhou, the company reported in a recent release.

“There are now 20 international boatbuilders operating in China, and our goal is to meet these builders and any who are thinking of starting up in China,” said NFM president Richard Walcome. “Though much of the boat production is exported, China’s domestic market will offer the biggest growth in the next 15 years.”

Boat Tech China is expected to give a boost to US accessory and equipment manufacturers seeking business in the booming Chinese marine market. The show also promises new opportunities for American marine investors interested in the advantages of China-based manufacturing. Numerous U.S. companies have signed up for the trade show, which is expected to have over 100 exhibitors and an estimated 8,000 visitors.
