“Big Game Room” returns to Miami

CHICAGO – The “Big Game Room” will return to the Miami International Boat Show this year, bringing back more exhibitors and activities for attendees, the National Marine Manufacturers Association said in a recent release.

Tournament organizers, manufacturers (boats, tackle and accessories), conservation groups, artists, suppliers, and representatives from various resorts and fishing destinations will all gather in the “Big Game Room,” NMMA said.

Companies exhibiting at the Miami International Boat Show in the “Big Game Room” will have the opportunity to demonstrate their winning techniques, share experiences, promote the sport of fishing and sell sport fishing accessories.

Show attendees will be able to take part in the new “Bait Rigging Station” this year and get hands-on training from fishing captains and anglers from all over the world. Show attendees can also learn the finer points of angling at seminars presented throughout the day. Manny Puig, the Shark Man; Dave Ferrell and Peter Wright of Marlin Magazine; Mike Genoun of South Florida Sportfishing Magazine; Chris Fisher of Outdoor Adventures TV, Peace Marvel, Ron Hamlin, Bouncer Smith and other angling experts are also scheduled to be on hand.

The 2005 Miami International Boat Show will be held Feb. 17-21 at the Miami Beach Convention Center.
