Gill NA transfers RWO assets to T-Marine
BUFORD, Ga. – Marine apparel and accessories manufacturer Gill North America has transferred ownership assets and interests of sailing hardware and product manufacturer RWO USA – including RWO, Sea Sure, Hawk and Super Spars product lines – to Tim Robinson, owner of T-Marine in Middletown, R.I., Gill said in a release yesterday.
“We believe T-Marine will continue in the RWO USA tradition of providing high-quality products and services on which we have built our reputation,” said David Pritchard, Gill North America president. “We appreciate the relationship that has been built with our customers over the years and look forward to T-Marine continuing to build upon this foundation for future growth.”
Pritchard said Gill North America made the decision to divest itself of RWO USA to continue to focus on developing the growth of Gill North America, which expanded into Canada last August.
“This move is part of Gill North America’s overall strategic plan to focus on a Gill-centric operation as we move forward,” said Pritchard.
