Fish Boats Registry to debut at Miami Show

HIGHLAND, Mich. – Fish Boats Registry, the source almanac for all things fishing, will make its debut at the Miami International Boat Show, the magazine’s publishers said in a release today.

Captain Barry Gibson, who spent the last 22 years as editor of Salt Water Sportsman, heads the salt water editorial team with former SWS editor and publisher Rip Cunningham, veteran writer and lecturer George Poveromo, writer John Brownlee and freelance writer/photographer Tom Richardson.

Tim Banse, former editor of Southern Boating, and professional guide Merrily Dunn are also major contributors.

Heading up the engine editorial is Vince Sparano, for many years the editor-in-chief of Outdoor Life.

The magazine’s editorial director, Craig Ritchie, will oversee the freshwater aspects of the magazine.

Joining Fish Boats Registry on the sales side is 20-year marine magazine veteran Deborah Hood, formerly of Salt Water Sportsman.
