Hatteras names new dealer in Mexico
NEW BERN, N.C. – Hatteras Yachts has expanded distribution into Mexico with a new authorized sales and service dealership that operates under the title Yacht Group S.A. de C.V., Hatteras said in a release Friday.
Headquartered in Mexico City, Yacht Group is a partnership between Yachtcenter S.A., a 20-year Hatteras representative in South America, and the Guillermo Zuloaga Investment Co.
The sales department will be managed by Ysmaly Perez-Ron, while Alejandro Blaschit will be responsible for all service issues.
“Mexico represents an exciting opportunity for Hatteras in North America,” said Bryant Phillips, Hatteras senior vice president of sales and marketing. “While we enjoy relationships with many satisfied owners in Mexico, we will now benefit from the Yacht Group’s full-time presence as the Hatteras representative in this unique and expanding yacht market.”
The company said it plans to expand in the near future with a second sales office in Guadalajara as well as service centers in Cancun and Puerto Vallarta.
