Action Marine recognizes No. 1 dealer
SUFFERN, N.J. – Action Marine Distributors, Inc. has recognized Suncoast Inflatables, Inc. of Clearwater, Fla., as its No. 1 dealer for 2004, the company reported in a release today.
Julie Redstatt, vice president of Action Marine, the U.S. importer for AB Inflatables, said that Suncoast Inflatables had achieved top dealer status by overtaking an Annapolis, Md., dealer who had held the position for more than a decade.
“Suncoast has been hovering around No. 2 or 3 for the past few years, and for them to become our No. 1 dealer demonstrates not only their commitment to our product, but the continued growth of boating on the West Coast of Florida,” Redstatt said. “This has been, by far, AB’s best sales year in the U.S., and Suncoast has been a major part of our growth.”
“Not all of our suppliers take such an active role in helping us sell their product as Action Marine does,” said Donna Knight, president of Suncoast. “Some vendors are only interested in selling you the product – Action Marine goes the extra step and wants to make sure they do all they can do to help us sell their product. The benefit to each of our organizations becomes very obvious.”
