SOUTHOLD, N.Y. – Sea Tow Services International, Inc., held its annual meetings earlier this month in Wesley Chapel, Fla., with this year’s theme, “Think Outside the Boat,” a focal feature of every presentation, seminar and break-out session throughout the four-day event, Sea Tow reported in a release today.
The theme was chosen to emphasize network-wide team building, creative thinking, proactive marketing and new relationship development in the coming year – all of which support the company’s on-water reputation, Sea Tow said.
Captain Joe Frohnhoefer, chairman and CEO of Sea Tow, called the meeting the “most successful” in the company’s 21-year history.
Frohnhoefer honored Sea Tow Boston as the winner of the “Franchise of the Year” award for 2004. The Boston franchise, owned and operated by Captains Dave and Steve Winkler, received the award in recognition of its outstanding business performance, commitment to the strategic growth of Sea Tow’s franchise network and dedication to customer service and community initiatives, Sea Tow said.
Frohnhoefer awarded the company’s “Lifesaving Award” to Capt. Shawn McWhorter of Sea Tow Central New Jersey, Captains Martin Bolster and Dan Sparks of Sea Tow Beaufort, Capt. Les Trafford of Shinnecock/Moriches and Captain Bob DiSanto of Sea Tow Rhode Island in recognition of their heroic actions in lifesaving incidents in 2004.
The company also announced that this year’s vendor evening, a private trade show and reception for the Sea Tow franchisees and staff, was the largest, most successful event to date. That success, according to the event’s organizer Kristen Frohnhoefer, was largely attributed to the primary sponsorship from BRP and supporting sponsorships from American Marine Holdings, AMU, Boater’s World, Interlux, Kova Corp., Naiad Inflatables, Subsalve USA and Twin Vee.
