Four Winns completes Mercury certification

CADILLAC, Mich. – Four Winns has successfully completed the Mercury Marine propulsion-installation certification program, the boat manufacturer’s said in a release today.

As a result, all MerCruiser-powered Four Winns boats will now come standard with a two-year Mercury limited engine warranty. All MerCruiser engines registered on or after Four Winns’ certification date of Dec. 1, 2004, will automatically receive two years of factory warranty.

“We are pleased to be able to offer boat buyers this added measure of warranty protection,” said company president, John Anderson. “It is the latest step in our continued quest to ensure that Four Winns customers have a positive boat ownership experience.”
