Regal Marine forecasts 20-percent sales gain

ORLANDO, Fla. – Boat manufacturer Regal Marine is celebrating its 35th anniversary with what it says is a “stellar” year of strong sales, the company reported in a press release yesterday.

Regal Marine said it expects at least a 20-percent gain in sales in 2004, after having posted a 20-percent sales increase in 2003. That success has been fueled by a stronger and expanded product line, aggressive sales efforts and low interest rates, the company reported.

Regal Marine said it also had its highest level of customer satisfaction ever in 2004, receiving the Customer Satisfaction Index Award from the National Marine Manufacturers Association for the third consecutive year. Its Sterndrive Bowrider Boats, Sterndrive Cuddy Express and Inboard Express Cruisers were singled out for CSI honors.

“We are one of the leading companies in the world in the mid-cabin cruiser market,” said Regal founder and Chairman Paul Kuck. “Our range of 24- to 42-foot boats rank with the best in the world. We believe that our overall product generally equals or outclasses most of our competitors.”
