Massey named as Albin dealer
SOUTH TAMPA BAY, Fla. & PALMETTO, Fla. – Massey Yacht Sales & Service has been named the full-line dealer of Albin yachts for Florida’s West Coast, Massey said in a release yesterday.
Massey is currently a sales volume and customer service award-winning dealer for Catalina, Morgan, Hunter and Caliber sailing yachts, the company stated.
“We chose Massey Enterprises primarily for their outstanding reputation and large presence in Southwest Florida’s boating industry,” said Craig Smith, national sales manager of Albin Marine.
Massey said it has been searching the lobster boat, cruising boat and trawler market for several years in an effort to find a power line compatible with its large sailing customer base.
“We are very excited about the opportunity to be able to offer our 30,000 plus customer base a yacht with so much proven success and value,” said Ed Massey, president and CEO of Massey Enterprises. “Some of our yacht owners have decided to explore lobster boat-style power yachts for cruising and fishing, and the Albin line will enforce long-term relationships.”
Massey generates over $18 million in annual sales volume and anticipates continued growth with the addition of the Albin line, the company said.
