Fountain reports record sales at FLIBS

WASHINGTON, N.C. – Fountain Powerboat Industries, Inc. signed orders for 16 boats at late October’s Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show, producing record boat-show revenues in excess of $4 million, the company reported in a press release today.

The new sales increased the company’s existing backlog to approximately $36 million, Fountain said.

“In addition to the success of the 48 Express Cruiser and our 42-foot Poker Run Special Edition, our new, much anticipated 32 Center Console fish boat drew hundreds of admirers and was a huge boost to our success at the show,” said Reginald M. Fountain, Jr., Fountain Powerboat president and CEO.
