MESCO/Seacoast show sets attendance records
THOROFARE, N.J. – Marine Equipment & Supply Co. of Thorofare, N.J., and Seacoast Distributors of Copiague, N.Y., set records in attendance and sales at their recently held 41st Dealer Trade Show, MESCO said in a press release today.
Over 900 MESCO and Seacoast Dealer personnel attended the two-day event, and dealers from Connecticut, Delaware, Maryland, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania and Virginia worked the show, which is the largest, longest running event of its kind in the region, according to Jim Del Cioppo, V.P. Sales and Marketing for MESCO.
“Following a generally positive 2004 season, dealers’ attitudes remained bullish for the upcoming season,” Del Cioppo said. “They were enthusiastic and purchased accordingly. We continue to increase our efforts to provide high quality marketing materials such as our Homeport Retail Identity Program, combined with strong purchasing programs, to help dealers compete against mass merchants and catalog houses.”
