SeaStrike embarks on joint venture with Sonic
FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. – SeaStrike LLC, owner of SeaStrike Boats, in a joint venture with First Derivative Technologies, Inc., the owner of the Dakota brand and manufacturer of Sonic High Performance Power Boats, is incorporating Dakota boats into its product line and will introduce 36’ and 32’ models under the SeaStrike name at the upcoming Ft. Lauderdale Boat Show.
The new SeaStrike 36 and 32 will be built at First Derivatives’ Stuart, Fla. facility according to a recent press release from SeaStrike. These and all SeaStrike boats will be built using the proprietary f(x) vacuum resin infusion process.
The Sonic association and their expertise in the performance arena (28 years) combined with SeaStrike’s long and strong fishing orientation (33 years) will be an asset in developing future fishing products and insuring leading edge performance, SeaStrike said.
Both the 36 and 32 will be offered in several versions, including center console and cuddy cabin models. SeaStrike recently moved it headquarters from Miami to Ft. Lauderdale. SeaStrike’s manufacturing was also relocated to Stuart.
