Engine manufacturers to participate in MRAA panel

OAK PARK, Ill. – Several of the marine industry’s leading power manufacturers will be appearing on an “Industry Leaders” panel at the upcoming 2004 MRAA Convention, reported the Marine Retailers Association of America in a statement today.

The panel will convene Nov. 11 and will feature:
– Pat Mackey: Mercury Marine
– Clint Moore: Volvo Penta
– Larry Vandiver: Suzuki
– Rock Lambert: Bombardier Recreational Products
– John Fulcher: Honda

Participants will field questions on a random basis in a “Meet the Press” format on issues pertinent to the industry – especially as it relates to the power side.

The panel, which last year proved to be a convention highlight, will be moderated by past MRAA Chairman Larry Russo and MRAA President Phil Keeter.

“Power and its distribution continues to play a dominant role at retail,” said John Sima, MRAA chairman. “The views and thoughts of these industry leaders are important to dealers and our convention attendees are anxious to hear them.”

The MRAA convention will be held Nov. 9 – 11 at the Stardust Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas. Registration information is available by visiting the association Web site at www.mraa.com or calling MRAA at 708-763-9210.
