UMMA/UMSA distributes several awards
ST. LOUIS – Several awards were distributed during the Partnership Conference sponsored by United Marine Manufacturers Association and United Marine Suppliers Association this past weekend in St. Louis.
“Supplier of the Year” awards were given to 3M Marine Products, Valspar gelcoat, Bombardier outboard motors, Volvo sterndrive and inboard engines, and Marine Fasteners, according to a release today from conference organizers.
Special awards for UMMA boat builder “Members of the Year” were given to Fineline Industries – manufacturer of Ski Centurian and Ski Supreme ski boats, to Smokercraft -Sylvan Marine – manufacturer of aluminum pontoon and fishing boats and fiberglass deck boats, and to Starcraft-Monarch Marine – manufacturer of aluminum pontoon and fishing boats and fiberglass deck boats.
UMMA president Kent Wooldridge acknowledged the outstanding contributions of these companies to the United Marine Manufacturers Association builder group and to the United Marine Suppliers Association, in presenting the awards.
