Record attendance expected for UMMA/UMSA Conference
ST. LOUIS – Members will begin gathering today in St. Louis for what is expected to be largest United Marine Manufacturers Association and United Marine Suppliers Association’s Annual Partnership Conference in the nine-year history of the event, according to UMMA/UMSA release this morning.
Each year, the nearly 100 members of UMMA – the industry’s largest buying group – meet for a conference and trade show in conjunction with their more than 130 supplier partners. The conference includes business meetings and a trade show, dedicated to building business cooperation between the boat builder members of UMMA and the suppliers of UMSA.
UMMA/UMSA president Kent Wooldridge anticipates this year’s gathering will be the largest in the history of the event.
“This is the most important event of the year for UMMA and UMSA members,” Wooldridge said. “Because of its importance, most of our members don’t attend other shows, so this is the opportunity to build relationships and secure a face-to-face meetings between our builders and suppliers while enhancing a philosophy of cooperation to everyone involved.”
