Hydra-Sports names top 2004 dealers

SARASOTA, Fla. – Following the close of its 2004 model year, Hydra-Sports recently named its top-performing dealers in the customer satisfaction and sales volume categories for the period, the company said today.

Chris Wainscott, senior vice president of sales and marketing for Hydra-Sports, cited those retailers at the company’s September dealer meeting in Las Vegas.

Ocean House Marina of Charlestown, R.I. was recognized for having achieved the highest Customer Satisfaction Index score during the 2004 model year, followed by All Seasons Marine of Rowayton, Conn., King Marine of Sewell, N.J., Bill’s Marine of Portsmouth, Va., and Gootee’s Marine of Church Creek, Md., Hydra-Sports said.

Other dealers recording a superior CSI score in 2004 included Burroughs Marine, All Island Marine Corp., Wayfarer Marine Corp., Bluewater Boats and Lentine Marine.

Manteo Marine, Pike Marine, Inc., Huntley Marine, Eagle Marine, Auer Marine, Custom Marine, Atlantic Outboard, Inc., and Owen’s Marine completed the CSI honor roll.

Plantation Boat Mart of Tavernier, Fla., was named the largest Hydra-Sports dealer for retail sales volume during the same period. Thunder Marine of St. Petersburg, Fla., captured second-place honors, with Eagle Marine of Sagamore Beach, Mass., Boat Tree, Inc., of Orlando, Fla. and Marina Mike’s of Ft. Myers, Fla., third through fifth respectively.

Rounding out the top ten roster were All Seasons Marine, King Marine, Collins, Inc. of Smithfield, N.C., Gootee’s Marine and Waterfront Marine.
