Correct Craft on expansion path
ORLANDO, Fla. – Correct Craft, Inc. will break ground in Orlando, Fla., on its new international headquarters after Nov. 1, with completion scheduled for fall 2005, the company reported in a press release yesterday.
The 240,000 square-foot facility will house corporate offices, research and development and manufacturing operations. Correct Craft said the new facility will increase employment at the company and will have the capacity to increase production by 70 percent, leaving the boat manufacturer room to grow in the future.
Correct Craft will also use two adjacent lakes for testing and research and development purposes. The company will use the east lake to test every Nautique for approval prior to being wrapped and shipped. The west lake will be used for R&D and will also be large enough to hold future tournaments for sports such as waterskiing, wakeboarding, and wakeskating.
The new facility will be located off the Beeline Expressway at International Corporate Boulevard. Correct Craft said it is the first to build in this new high-tech industrial development.
Kelsey Construction, Inc. and Hunton Brady Architects are partnered with consultants Rockett & Associates, Burton, Braswell and Middlebrooks, CHP Associates, and Hughes Associates on the project.
