Stingray to celebrate 25th anniversary
HARTSVILLE, S.C. – Stingray will be celebrate its 25th anniversary during the company’s 2005 dealer meeting to be held Oct. 8-10 in Hartsville, S.C., according to a recent company statement.
Stingray dealers, old and new, national and international, will convene to commemorate this milestone and toast founders Al and Debbie Fink. Those in attendance will have opportunity to tour Stingray’s manufacturing facilities and will also be granted a chance to see and test-drive several all-new boat models slated for the 2005 model year.
These new boat models include 195 and 250 bowriders, cuddy cabins and a fish and ski – all sporting Stingray’s Z-Plane hull.
Al Fink founded Stingray in 1979 with two molds and a handful of craftsmen. Since then, Stingray’s fleet has grown to more than 20 models, the company reported.
