Yamaha begins NewsDrive service
KENNESAW, Ga. – Yamaha has begun offering a new service on the Web sites of participating Yamaha marine dealers and its own Web site, called NewsDrive, which provides a steady flow of boating and fishing information updated daily, the company said in a statement yesterday.
The news and information comes from a variety of sources such as tournament circuits, manufacturers, pro anglers, outdoor book and video reviews, service technicians, outdoor and boating writers and other news sources. Both fresh and salt-water boating activities are included, Yamaha said.
Many dealers enthusiastically embraced the new service and quickly signed on, since being shown the details of Yamaha’s NewsDrive at boat dealer business meetings this summer, Yamaha reported.
