Curd Buoys awarded 5-year SCNDR contract

MOUNT PLEASANT, S.C. – Curd Buoys, a division of Curd Enterprises, Inc., has been awarded a five-year contract to continue to supply navigational aids to the South Carolina Dept. of Natural Resources, the company said in a recent statement.

Curd Buoys will supply channel markers, information buoys and off shore buoys that mark artificial fishing reefs. SCDNR has used Curd Buoys for 32 years as navigational aids in South Carolina’s waters, the company said.

Curd Buoys also has a contract with the federal government on a GSA schedule. The company supplies the federal government, state and city governments and the general public with buoys and floats for offshore and in-shore use worldwide.
