Regulator adds to its dealer network

EDENTON, N.C. – Regulator Marine, Inc. has expanded its dealership network with the addition of Lockwood Marine in Shellman Bluff, Ga., the company said today.

Lockwood Marine – a dealership and boatyard with dry storage located on a 31-acre tract in the middle of the Georgia coast, equidistant from Brunswick and Savannah – was one of only five dealers nationally to achieve Marine Industry Certification, Regulator Marine said in its press release.

“We are very excited about the potential of our new partnership with Lockwood Marine,” said Wyatt Lane, Regulator’s national sales manager. “They are heavily service-oriented and have the same philosophy we do – keeping the customer happy and coming back for life.”

In November, several of Lockwood Marine’s staff will be attending “Regulator University,” an annual training program for dealers held at Regulator’s production facility in Edenton, N.C. There they will get a factory tour, presentations by vendors, training on the features of each Regulator model, plus a chance to captain boats on the water.

“We wanted to add a top quality center console fishing boat to our line that compliments our existing manufacturers,” said Jerry Ham, Lockwood Marine’s general manager. “We’re very enthusiastic about representing Regulator.”
