boats.com reports July top-20 rankings

LAKE FOREST, Ill. – The boats.com manufacturers’ rankings for July reveal a few changes at the top of both the new powerboat and sailboat lists, according to a boats.com statement released today.

Tracker retained first place on the new powerboat search list, but Tahoe moved into the second spot, from fifth the month before, while Laser took the top spot from Beneteau on the new sailboat search list.

”Our NetAccess partners are reaping the benefits of yet another record traffic month for boats.com” said Paul Rabe, president, CEO and co-founder of the company. “Significant changes in rankings are beginning to take place just outside the top-5 positions and activity like this shows that consumers are broadening their searches for brand and model information.”

The boats.com rankings are based on the most popular consumer searches by brands, new and pre-owned, at the Web site’s online marketplace. The boats.com top-20 list is published monthly and reflects traffic data on all manufacturers and models available on boats.com Inc.’s Net Access Program.
