Viking Sport Cruisers names New England dealer
NEW GRETNA, N.J. – Viking Sport Cruisers has named Bassett Boat Co. as its new dealer for the New England area, according to a Viking press release yesterday.
Bassett Boat Co. – a family owned and operated dealership with locations on the Connecticut River in Springfield, Mass., on Long Island Sound in Westbrook, Conn. and at Greenwich Bay Marina in Warwick, R.I., – operates a 45,000 square-foot service center in Ludlow, Mass.
“We are pleased to have Bassett Boat Co. representing the Viking Sport Cruisers line,” said Tom Carroll, president and CEO. “Bassett is first-class all the way and is a terrific new asset to the Viking Sport Cruisers nationwide dealer network. With the help of Bassett, we will be able to effectively target the entire New England region, an area well-known for superb cruising.”
Founded in 1944, Bassett Boat Co. helped launch the Master Dealer Program for Sea Ray Boats and remains one of the oldest Sea Ray dealers in the country, having been with the company for 40 years.
