Albemarle adds TMG to dealer network
EDENTON, N.C. – Albemarle Boats has added The Marine Group to its worldwide dealership network, the boat manufacturer said in a press release yesterday.
The Marine Group will be Albemarle’s exclusive sales and servicing dealer from Carrabelle, Fla. to Lake Charles, La., according to the company.
“The Marine Group has assembled an incredible sales team and with their great locations in Destin, Fla., and in Orange Beach, Ala., we couldn’t ask for any better representation,” said Albemarle Vice President Burch Perry, “They are truly a first-class operation.”
Albemarle also said it had completed building its 2000th hull with the construction of the company’s most recent 248 Express Fisherman.
Beginning in 1978 with hull number 1, a boat still in service today, the company said its 24-foot Cuddy Express has been the backbone of the entire Albemarle Fleet.
“Over the years the boat has evolved with a series of design changes improving both the fishability and aesthetics from the waterline up, but the hull shape is exactly the same,” said Perry. “Our theory remains that we have no reason to change what has earned the reputation as the best ride available in the 24-foot class.”
