ABILENE, TEXAS – Tigé Boats Inc. will be an official sponsor of the 2004 U.S. OPEN Wakeboard Championship, the company said in a recent release.
The 2004 Tigé U.S. OPEN will take place on Nov. 13-14 in Kauai, Hawaii. The Tigé 20V Riders Edition will tow the competition.
“The Tigé U.S. OPEN was a huge success two years ago in Orlando,” remarked Chris Bischoff, TeamTigé captain and one of the organizers of the ’04 Tigé U.S. OPEN. “After leaving the championship, all of the riders really spread the word around the wakeboarding community about how great the event and Tigé Boats are. I, along with Tigé, am making sure that the ’04 Tigé U.S. OPEN really caters to the riders’ needs.”
The ’04 Tigé U.S. OPEN will be the first-ever wakeboarding event filmed in High Definition. Tape-delayed broadcasts of the ’04 Tigé U.S. OPEN will air on Dec. 22 on Fox Sports Network.
