Century Boats dealer meetings a success

PANAMA CITY, Fla. – Century Boats kicked off its 2005 model year with one of the most successful dealer meetings in its history, according to a recent press release from the company.

Coming off of record-low field inventories, Century dealers were eager to restock and secure orders for the coming year at the meetings, which were held in Sarasota, Fla.

“Our dealers worked hard work throughout the boat show season and early spring, and their efforts resulted in a very successful year. Now, they are poised for an even better year in 2005,” said Bob Berdanier, sales manager for Century.

Strong selling programs and new product were big contributors to the success in the 2004 model year, according to the boat builder. This trend continues for 2005 and dealers attending the meeting were enthusiastic about five new models, Century said.

For 2005 the company introduced three new center consoles — 1701 CC, 1801 CC and 2400 CC. Also new were the 1902 Bay Boat and 2900 WA.
