ShoreMaster opens West Coast warehouse

FERGUS FALLS, Minn. – Waterfront equipment manufacturer ShoreMaster has opened a new warehouse and distribution center in Adelanto, Calif., the company said in a release today.

Mike Smith will be managing operations for the boatlift and dock manufacturer, according to the company.

“ShoreMaster is very much on a pathway of growth, and adding the facility at Adelanto will allow us a tremendous amount of development possibilities,” said Erik Ahlgren, ShoreMaster president and CEO. “Our goal is to be the country’s premier waterfront company, and this is one more step toward that goal.”

Ralph Peck, vice president and general manager of ShoreMaster’s Galva-Foam division, said distribution from the new facility would be a simple matter in all directions from Adelanto.

“This will allow us to penetrate this particular marketplace in a positive way,” Peck said. “Combining stock and ordered materials will create a substantial savings for the end users who normally have to pay a higher rate for products manufactured in the Mid-west.”
