“We’re very proud of our affiliation with the ABA and proud to play this role with such a distinguished group of boat builders,” said Randy Blanton, president of Lewmar. “This validates our claim that we are building the best bow thruster on the market in terms of both performance and value.”

The five-year contract took effect in July and will last through June 2009. Representative ABA members include Thunderbird Products, S2 Yachts, Inc., Chaparral Boats, Regal Marine Industries, Rinker Boat Co., Inc., Monterey Boats, Cobalt Boats, Stingray Boats, Correct Craft, Ebbtide Corp., Grady-White Boats and Triton.

“We found Lewmar provides ABA with the best overall value in terms of products, cost, service and engineering,” Jay Patton, president of the ABA said. “This agreement, along with our windlass agreement, establishes the framework for a long-term partnership with ABA Member companies.”
