Brewer Street Boatworks begins selling boats
NEWPORT, R.I. – Brewer Street Boatworks, a provider of support services for sail and powerboat owners in southern New England, has formed Brewer Street Boat Sales, the company said in a recent statement.
Brewer Street Boatworks said its new division will greatly increase the value of services and products the company can offer to its current customer base, and also broaden its appeal to new customers.
To launch the sales effort, Brewer Street Boat Sales said it has been selected by Blue Fin Sport Fishing Boats of Bristol, R.I., as its exclusive dealer for Rhode Island.
“The addition of boat sales to our well established portfolio of services for recreational boaters is a significant step in our goal to offer a complete boating experience for our customers,” said Skip Helme, president of Brewer Street Boatworks.
Brewer Street Boat Sales will share the current Brewer Street Boatworks facilities at both its Newport location and in Portsmouth, R.I. The Boat Sales division will be managed by Steve Janzen, a lifelong boater with over 20 years running sales organizations of all sizes in the high tech and telecommunications markets.
