NFSS Web site goes live in September

SOUTHTAMPTON, U.K. – In an effort to reinforce its position as the place to search and find out information on different sail and power training centers and courses, and with the addition of a new course calendar application, the National Federation for Sailing Schools Web site will go live in September, NFSS said in a recent release.

The new site, which will be live in time for the Southampton Boat Show, will be the only one on the Web to offer information on accredited high standard training centers, not only under an area, but also type of course and date, according to the release.

“Other sites do give information on member training center listings, but these are not combined with course dates,” said NFSS spokesperson Brigid Howells. “We’ve identified this opportunity to add the new section to our Web site which member training centers will be able to update directly so it will always have the latest information.”

Another advantage is that the site will make it easier and quicker for visitors to find information on courses if they are restricted to certain dates or can only make a booking at the last minute.

“The NFSS website, designed by BreezeMarine, is very user friendly – it’s easy – even for people who aren’t totally computer literate – to navigate their way around,” Howells said.
