MPI signs Preferred Supplier Agreement with IBBI
SOLON, Ohio – Manufacturer Marine Products International has been named as the preferred supplier for marine hose and related products of buying group International Boat Builders, Inc., MPI said yesterday.
Under the six-year agreement, new boats produced by the 26 IBBI member companies will use MPI as the exclusive source for marine hose, Sure Bail bilge-pump switches, fuel-tank gasketing and other related products manufactured by MPI, according to the group’s press release.
“We highly value the existing 12-year working partnership we have had with each of the 26 IBBI members,” said Dennis Koch, president of MPI. “The renewal of this agreement confirms our long-standing commitment to product performance, customer service and best overall value.”
“Extending our agreement with MPI makes sense for IBBI and its members,” said Tom Broy, president of IBBI. “MPI was awarded our Supplier of the Year Award in 2001 and has a well-earned reputation for top quality products and benchmark customer service.”
