Hatteras signs California dealer
NEW BERN, N.C. – Hatteras Yachts has selected Stan Miller Yachts as its authorized sales and service dealership for the state of California, it reported in a recent statement.
Established in 1955, the company has been owned by John and Brad Buettner for 20 years, and is Southern California’s oldest yacht dealership, the boat builder stated.
The company is the largest authorized dealer for Grand Banks, a product line it has carried since 1977. Stan Miller Yachts added the Cabo Yachts product line in 1994, and remains that brand’s only authorized dealer on the entire West Coast, Hatteras reported.
“The signing of Stan Miller Yachts is a great addition to our network of authorized Hatteras dealerships,” said Jan Boone, Hatteras vice president of sales. “John and Brad Buettner have extensive experience in the marine industry and a long-standing presence in the sportfishing community. They have the experience and understanding of the West Coast market requirements to successfully integrate the Hatteras brand.”
Stan Miller Yachts will represent Hatteras at all three of its California locations: Long Beach, Newport Beach and San Diego. Warranty work will be managed through the company’s Long Beach service department and supported by a network of preferred relationships with key service yards.
