NMEA event sold out
SEVERNA PARK, Md. – Despite a larger show floor, all booth spaces for the National Marine Electronics Association’s (NMEA) annual convention and exposition have been sold, the group reported in a statement today.
The NMEA 2004 Conference & Exposition is scheduled to take place October 20-23 at a new location – The Registry Resort & Club in Naples Florida – providing an expanded exhibit area that allowed NMEA to increase the number of available booths from 45 to 61.
Of the 61 exhibitors who have contracted space for this year, 11 of them are new to the NMEA convention, according to the association.
“We weren’t surprised that space went so quickly,” said NMEA’s president, Beth Kahr. “This is an outstanding opportunity for exhibitors to introduce new products to highly qualified customers—the marine electronics dealers. We anticipate that we’ll see a wide variety of innovative equipment.”
More information about the 2004 convention can be obtained by calling the NMEA national office at (410) 975-9425 or visiting www.nmea.org.
